Los Angeles Lakers fans booed Isaiah Stewart of the Detroit Pistons a week after the infamous pull-apart.

Last week, the Los Angeles Lakers and Detroit Pistons garnered a ton of attention after LeBron James struck Isaiah Stewart in the face. That led to Stewart breaking away from his team to try and get at the Lakers star. Both James and Stewart were ejected and earned their respective suspensions.

On Sunday, the two teams met once again, this time in Hollywood. When Stewart stepped up to the free throw line, Lakers fans mercilessly booed him.

In their last meeting, James struck Stewart in the face during a free throw attempt, drawing blood in the process. Stewart was incensed, as he tried to run towards James a number of times. But, he was pushed back into the hallways of Little Caesars Arena and ultimately ejected from the game. James was ejected with a flagrant 2 foul.

This past Monday, the NBA announced that James was suspended for one game, while Stewart was handed a two game ban.

Following the Lakers’ win over the Indiana Pacers this past Wednesday, James maintained that hitting Stewart in the face was “definitely accidental” and did not feel a suspension was warranted.

Stewart talked about the incident following the Pistons’ loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday, saying that he did not feel that James striking him was an accident. He also said that this was the last time he would talk about it.

In their first meeting since the incident, Lakers fans let Stewart know how they felt about him.
